Didja see Bush smile? Ex Prez Bush smiled when he ducked and avoided - successfully I might add - the shoes flung at him. Hurled, thrown, lobbed - what does it matter? In less than a week will I be departing from my home of the past 4 months, more or less. More it is, it certainly has been, even though I've stayed here for less the 3 months, or even two, in this time. An example came this weekend, when in the presence of a few party animals from Oakland, CA, I came across the words "as if I were being abbot of a monastery"..
