Astrology - The Three Air Signs
So far we have learned about the astrology fire element and its signs and the element earth and the earth signs astrology. Today let's explore the element of air and the air signs astrology.
The astrology element of air has several defining traits. The first and most important trait to air is freedom — air people literally cannot be contained.
People born to an air sign are also highly intelligent, very versatile and compassionate people. They have the ability to put themselves in other people's shoes and feel what others are feeling. They also have the ability to communicate extremely well and put explanations into simpler terms so that others can understand. However, people of the air signs astrology can also be flighty and indecisive, and can blow hot and cold depending on their mood. The astrology element of air represents the zodiac signs Gemini, Libra and Aquarius. Let's take a closer look at these air signs.
Gemini: May 21-June20
The air sign Gemini has an unlimited amount of positive energy, a witty way with words, a strong vitality and an ability to adapt to almost anything or anyone. This makes them huge social butterflies. They are extremely intelligent, love to voice their opinions — they are usually right — and they love to observe other people. They are curious about the world around them and they are constantly on the lookout for new experiences and adventures. A zodiac Gemini wants to always been seen as happy-go-lucky, and is a very exciting and motivational person to have around.
On the other side of Gemini, they are known for their dual personality and they live up to it by being very indecisive. They are scared of the mundane and the boring, proving them to be very flighty. They have a hard time staying on track and they often leave a lot of unfinished business. They tend to be superficial, thinking they know everything. People born under the astrology sign Gemini have a lot of nervous energy because they are always trying to immediately absorb and react to their surroundings and situations. They are often described as "wound up," and they can be very moody, which they try to hide from most people.
Libra: September 23-October 22
Unlike the Gemini, people born under the air sign Libra are not flighty, rather they represent air that circulates slowly, calming us and bringing us harmony. The horoscope Libra is diplomatic, peaceful and always looking to smooth things over and make others comfortable. Libras are very intelligent and often times express their intelligence through artistic outlets. They love adventure and the unusual, and they always have a great enthusiasm. It is not hard to like a Libra.
The downside of people in the astrology sign Libra is that they hide their own feelings in order to make others happy. They are seen as indecisive because they try so hard to please everyone and often get torn in many different directions. Many times, they lack self confidence and are constantly looking for something or someone to complete them, rather than following their own excellent instincts and intuition. On one hand zodiac Libras are highly intelligent, but on the other hand, they lack the drive to put in the hard work. They much prefer to share their ideas and have other people do the work for them.
Aquarius: January 20-February 18
The element of air that applies most to the Aquarius sign is freedom — zodiac Aquarius would quite literally not survive if they were not free. They value their independence above all else, and they strive to be unique and unconventional just to make themselves stand out. People born under the Aquarius astrology sign have a good heart and feel the need to lead useful lives helping others. Horoscope Aquarius accepts people for who they are, and they enjoy cheering others up by making them laugh. They are very intelligent and seek out wisdom, making them great visionaries.
The flip side to people born under the astrology sign Aquarius is that because they have to be so independent, they can be extremely stubborn and rebellious. Even if their way has been proved wrong, they will soldier on because they will not admit that they are wrong. Due to their need to stand out, they tend to try to shock people and they say what they think no matter how it sounds. In this way, they sometimes unintentionally hurts other peoples feelings. They are intellectually driven, not emotionally driven, and they can be manipulative when justifying what they say or do.
