Astrology Water Signs: Cancer, Scorpio and Pisces
For the past few weeks, we have been learning about the elements in astrology and the three zodiac signs of each. This week, to round out our knowledge, we will focus on the water signs astrology, including the signs Cancer, Scorpio and Pisces. Let's dive in!
The astrology element water is the most emotional element of of the zodiac elements. People born under a water sign are intuitive, sensitive and the most in tune with other people than any other sign. Since water sign people are so in tune with others, they are very caring, nurturing and helpful to people. They can also be very sensitive and get their feelings hurt quite easily. Much like the ocean, water signs can be calm and cool one moment, and tumultuous and torrent another moment. People in water signs desire beauty in everything and a lot of times take their feelings and translate them through art of some form or another. Here is a look at the individual water astrology signs.
Cancer: June 21-July 22
The Cancer astrology sign is an unpredictable sign full of contradictions. It values security and comfort, but also adventure. People born under the astrology sign Cancer are deeply sensitive and intuitive. They prefer to have a close knit group of friends and family, and once you befriend a cancer, you will be friends for life. Horoscope Cancers are nurturing and caring, making them great parents. People in the Cancer sign have the capacity to be very powerful people.
Zodiac Cancers have a lot of emotional issues including shyness and insecurity. Although they appear to be cool and calm, they can be very moody and are prone to temper tantrums. They need constant reassurance and support. They can also be clingy, holding on to old friends much longer than most people simply because they have trust issues and do not want to have to learn to trust someone new. Remember, when dealing with a Cancer, there is always more than meets the eye.
Scorpio: October 23-November 21
The astrology sign Scorpio represents intensity and extremes. Horoscope Scorpios are very intelligent, extremely independent and like to be on their own. Although they come off as calm and unemotional, they are very deep, passionate people. Once you gain a Scorpio's trust, they make fiercely loyal friends. They have tons of energy, can be very persistent and are very driven, making them excellent business people. They usually get to very high positions in their work where they can be in control.
Zodiac Scorpio tends to be highly competitive and will use their flawless memory to cut anyone down that stands in their way. They are not very trusting and it takes a lot for a Scorpio to let you in however, once in, they can sometimes be possessive and jealous. Scorpios have intensified emotions, both good and bad. People born under the Scorpio astrology sign have to be in control or they feel unsafe, and if their energy is not channeled towards positive goals, they can easily turn it to less desirable places like greed and manipulation.
Pisces: February 19-March 20
Zodiac Pisces is the mystery sign. People born under this sign tend to live in two different worlds, reality and a mystical world know only to them where they can interpret their surroundings into what they want them to be. Horoscope Pisces are very compassionate, accepting of other people and have a very good understanding of others. They have a strong intuition and learn early on to trust it because they are almost always right. People born under the Pisces astrology sign are extremely imaginative and make good writers, actors and musicians. Often times they have strong beliefs and will work hard or stand up for something they believe in.
The astrology sign Pisces is not independent; in fact, people born to the Pisces sign need to surround themselves with other people who will keep them grounded. They don't have much drive, and often times are lazy. In addition, they are so sensitive that they will turn another person's suffering into their own and suffer right along with them. To avoid this, they revert to their mystical world, which can often lead them astray.

Thanks for the reinforcing! I'm pisces and this piece describes exactly the way I function emotionally! I'm altruist to the extreme where I can physically feel others pain and I take refuge in my inner world to make sense of it...
Also I can be lazy and do need people around me to remind me of the beauty of the "real" world. However if this world was ugly I would make it pretty by imagining new colors anyway :-)

The trust issue is a very strong with scorpios. They tend to fully trust people from the begining, but if you break it, they can be very upset and remember things for ages.

How funny, I didn't realize you were a Scorpio too. That is true for me as well ... I can hold a grudge and I will not easily forgive someone if they break my trust! I am also very emotional and competitive in certain areas, and also have that flawless memory ....

I guess this is the place of our correction, i mean with the grudding... since this emotion brings negetiveness, which I personally do not want to have in my existance, I am working on it and learning to accept others and their behaviors, as contradicting as they can be to my own path.
