Laughing yoga experience

The last One event was focused on the amazing and have to say funny, workshop we had lead by Ananda Wildflower.

I have been hearing about Laughter Yoga for so long and was expecting for it to be similar to other workshops I experienced in my life to release stuck energies and open up your heart. Though this workshop was different in some ways.

At first I was a bit shy with the fact that I will be laughing without anything funny to trigger the laugh, but standing, laying and sitting forcing yourself to laugh brought, eventually, a burst wave of laughter and feeling of elevation which I did not experience for long long time.

It is a scientific fact that once you laugh unconditional laugh, it will be followed with a feeling of happiness. I do not remember what are the exact hormones released while laughing, but, boy, I love it!

This method of making yourself what you want to be or how you want to feel, is one of my own life's approaches to almost everything. When I help clients to heal themselves from a long lasting disease or any other disturbance, and they wish to snap out of it, I tell them the story about this guy who was stuck in a mud pool, after falling from his small canoe.

He did not even think that he can make it out of there without the help of others. So he waited for someone to pass by and ask for help. Once he realized that there is no one coming to help him, he faced his own inner voice who said "I want to live".

What he did, was to start off with what he could and that was moving his toe. After few hours he could just move all his toes and slightly his ankle and legs. After few more hours he could make enough space and air to come in so, he started to feel that he has more room to move and after a long struggle, he could literally crawl his way out  to the shore of the swamp!

In this case, the guy fell into the muddy swamp, not by choosing it, just like in life, many times, it is not our choice to be where we are in many of the cases. He chose to put himself in a different place and state of mind, with an understandable huge amount of motivation.

The thing is that usually in life when we are comfortable and life goes on as it is, we embrace negative emotions for years sometimes, just because we can live with it. Where the Laughing Yoga, in this example, is coming to tell us, Hey! there is more for you in this world. More in the means of having the positive energies of your body and soul greater and more active than your negative ones.

That is all what it is, basically where you choose to put yourself and what you want to achieve from your life, not as far as work, relationship and other outside elements in your life, but your inner, absolute true happiness, which will, inturn, affect your entire life's facets.

So, for the question what comes first the egg or the chicken, I would say, it doesn't really matter! Do what you can do and start moving things forward, the rest will follow, as the song says.

;-)

I want to thank Ananda for revealing this workshop to me and for participating for the first time in the One event. I hope that many people will open up to this beautiful, so simple, practice and raise the levels of the hehe hahaha YUUUUU!!! ;-) inside and out.

Not to be a party killer, but think about it that you are now spending the time of your life, which you will look at back when you are older and think: What have I done to make myself happier in this life???
You can also choose, BTW, to suffer in this life, for having a better reincarnation or to have 70 verginians (;-)) waiting for you, maybe heaven?.
For me, since I have never been on the other side and have no idea what's there, I choose to take life, as it is, simple, exciting, beautiful and rewarding.

Here is what Ananda wrote about the Laughing Yoga workshop on AltGlobe.org.

Yeah! What an accurate capture of what Laughter yoga would do to you!
I've always wanted to experience it ever since I attended a hypnotherapy lesson, where I got my inner child to laugh about my adult self. It was a truly revealing experience and so liberating...and that's what happened again with Laughter Yoga! I'm telling you, this kid has a serious sense of laughter! I love her! Oh wait!! It's me!!

Well, we are thinking of doing something more established with this excersize, to stay tuned. I will post something about it here when it happens.
