It's time to find valid recycling options for plastic.  What kind of world makes things that can't be disposed of?  There’s a pretty little tree outside my house and it has a plastic bag hanging toward the top.  I can’t get to it and it’s been there awhile, two years I think.  Storms, wind, and time don’t seem to be doing anything helpful in the way of getting it down.  So the bag’s got a grip on the tree and I have to wonder – will it be there in twenty years?  Fifty years?  Plastic bottles start breaking down after 700...

Meditating is like breathing or praying, a state of quiet that transcends the usual. The motion of a rocking chair can put a person into a meditative state of mind. It's almost a symbolic thing, the rocking chair and the safety and the comfort of its feel, surrounding, nurturing, and protecting. The motion of it is soothing and calming, an optimum way to feel when meditating. It was always hard for me to get into that state when I wanted it, and much more likely to happen accidentally. Ah, yes, keeping fit. The couch and TV have always called out to me, sighing gently, bring the Cheetos and let's get cozy; we're in for the long haul now, it's wintertime. Often the cats joined in, they liked the whole idea of being cozy on the couch for extended periods of time. I fought it and I fought it, but sadly, to no avail. I was and still am a hibernator at heart.
