Meditation Music Opens Your Seven Chakras

Chakra blockage can lead to:
- physical illness
- emotional instability
- mental sluggishness
- spiritual discontent
The body has seven chakras, each of which specialize in transmitting their own unique energy. If you are working on a specific problem, you can cleanse the individual chakra responsible with meditation music.
The seven chakras
The seven chakras are:
- The red chakra (root chakra) is located at the bottom of your spine. It specializes in the basest human needs, including survival and sexuality.
- The orange chakra (womb chakra) is found directly below your navel. It is the cradle of intimate feelings, creativity, and nurturing.
- The yellow chakra (solar plexus chakra) is above your navel, and is home to personal power and self-confidence.
- The green chakra (heart chakra) is at the center of your chest. Empathy, love, and consideration flow through here.
- The sky blue chakra (throat chakra) is within your neck. Self-expression, communication, and clarity are found within it.
- The indigo (sometimes white) chakra (third eye chakra) is at the bridge of your nose. Telepathy, mental clarity, and awareness of others reside here.
- The purple chakra (crown chakra) is on the very top of your head. Your spiritual self and relationship to the cosmos flow through it.
Cleansing Your Chakras with Meditation Music
Meditation music is a great way to relax, and open up your chakras' pathways. You can choose to do a daily meditation to cleanse individual chakras, one chakra for each day of the week. Or you can do a total cleansing of all your chakras, to renew your spiritual energies. There are various online meditation methods designed to cleanse your chakras of negative energy build up.
Once you have meditated over the chakra cleansing meditation music, your energy will increase dramatically. Your body will be poised to take on any challenge, since it now has free-flowing chakras to send your energy where it needs to be. Try some chakra meditation music, and enjoy the increased energy and mental clarity it will bring you.

Taking a Look Within through Meditation

"There's this place that I go, where nobody knows, where the rivers flow
and I call it home, and there's no more lies, and the darkness is light
and nobody cries, there's only butterflies." - Natasha Bedingfield in Pocketful of Sunshine
For me, the lyrics above speak of the magical journey that a daily practice of meditation can create.
A meditation practice can be as simple or as complex as one can commit. It can be based on a specific spiritual or secular philosophy or not; a specific intention or not; a specific focus on a part of the ethereal or physical body or not. Only the practitioner can identify what approach is most applicable in his or her life.
Here are three simple types of meditation that can be done at any level of meditation experience.
1. Focusing on the Breath
One of the simplest and most effective ways to harness awareness and promote stillness in the mind and body is to focus on the breath. This method can be done anywhere. It does not matter where you are; you can take a moment and become focused on the breath.
Simply tune into the breath, inhale and exhale. Again, inhale and exhale, now this time more slowly, more deliberately, inhale filling your body with air and then exhale releasing the breath and exhaling all the air, tension, and stress stored inside. Let go.
Simple, right?
This is a simple, yet powerful practice of pausing and just being; the process of letting go of the illusions of life and sitting with what simply is.
2. Creating Meditation Space
We unconsciously create "defined space" all the time. When we come home after a long day and prepare our favorite comfort food, sit in our favorite spot on the couch, and turn to our favorite television show - we are creating defined space.
Here are a few ways I define meditation space:
- Aesthetics: Draping colorful fabrics over a small table. Colors can stimulate certain energy, mood and feelings
- Candles: Using little or no florescent lighting. Throughout the ages and across traditions candles have come to symbolize the light within, the light we carry in the world, and the light of peace, joy, and happiness
- Items: Placing a freshly cut flower, a picture of a rushing brook, a sunset, or a family member, a spiritual verse or affirmation to promote positive energy and well-being
- Aromatheraphy Scents: Using essential oils like lavender or lemongrass, or incense like nag champa or jasmine to shift the mind and body to a more peaceful space
- Sounds: Listening to soft relaxing music (instrumental only, possibly tamboura music), reading a particular inspirational passage or poem or repeating an affirmation, or prayer
- Whatever else gives you peace and promotes stillness.
These pieces melodiously become one; just as all the pieces of ourselves and roles we are ascribed in life become one in this unifying space. In essence, in this space we yoke or reunite with ourselves.
3. Nature Meditation
A few years ago, a mentor and friend introduced me to nature walk meditations. Just being in nature can be relaxing and help remind us just how much we are a part of something larger than ourselves.
There are different approaches to walking meditation. Some focus on the measure and rhythm of the steps. Some use a labyrinth and walk along a patterned design. Some simply find the meditative power just being in nature. Some start with a group intention to focus the purpose and energy. Nguyen Anh-Huong & Thich Nhat Hanh's Walking Meditation is a small compact book including a DVD, CD and guided meditations that can easily be carried along on a walk.
Your practice is unique
Your practice is unique to you. I have found that a blended method is most beneficial for me; however, most spiritual mentors probably would not recommend this approach. It comes from the belief that going deep on one path is more beneficial than touching the surface of many. I am not an expert or scholar on meditation, just a student consistently humbled by the experience of my practice and non-practice.
Search, study, practice and identify a what works best for you.
In closing, on a nature walk I asked my mentor, "When does one know his or her path"? In classic yogic form, she lifted the response from a parable. She said, " a meditation practice is like Hanuman's journey, but it is a journey within. When you get there you will know you are home."

The Power of our mind and the Law of Attraction

How do we begin? Short answer: our subconscious mind.
Long Answer: now thats quite a task...
Our subconscious is bigger than we think. It is the storage of 'what we don't know, we don't know'... Yes ! it is our internal hard drive, that like in a computer, has all kinds of programs, and sub-programs, and information, that litterally 'runs us', or more so runs our manifestation power. What we manifest has direct correlation to our subconscious conditioning, no matter how much we try to deny, or ignore it, or brush it with a nice sweet topping- our internal world = our external, period.
It is a constant awareness of that which we say to ourselves inside, what we believe to be true about ourselves, the world, what we can have and what we cannot. Also, who we have not forgiven yet, who we are secretely still wanting to 'get back at' and therefore manifesting more people/incidents/opportunities to 'revenge'. Who is that "we"? Our Ego.
Ego = Our Identity, who we think we are = how we were brought up, and the collection of parental, and social conditioning we have accumulated from childhood and on. Is that 'who we are'? ....
Think about it... do you really think you are who your parents told you you are? Society? Teachers? etc etc etc bla bla bla...
Buddha sat in meditation 6 years to answer that. It is something that is nothing, and everything at the same time.
Cut the long story short (as much as I can...)- the more we get closer to find out who we really are, the easier it is to manifest what we want, the easier it is to 'ask and it is given...'
Life becomes easier, since our mind becomes clear, empty and pure, like a kid before they are told who they are... (usually by people who have no clue who they are... ha!).
How to get there? Thats for the next blog...

Spirit Over Matter - August 08

Its a spirit over matter kind of month!
New knowledge will come your way; Issues of trust (in self); recognition and mastery, kindness and forgiveness will be the key to move through daily circumstances.
These times are internal - you are going to get to the bottom of your soul! Please take some responsibility!
Through August you will weigh your life purpose and opportunities. Why these events are happening?
What am I up to? Why am I here? Will be some of the themes that will fuel your being this August!
Give yourself the space and the time to tap into the reservoir of unconditional love and light.
Make an effort to take time off, time alone, listen to your soul – tap into your inner wisdom. Any inner work will do – yoga, long hikes, meditation and short trips – it will elevate your spirit and get you focused in pursuing your heart’s desires. You will need to make an effort to elevate your soul!
Good times to study something new, and to experience your inner wisdom. You’ll be attracted to the power and flow of music. Listen, go to live music performance (especially on the 8.8.8). Friday triple 8 is the infinite connection to the whole.
There will be a strong Influence of feminine energy – listen to the goddess more intently this month – as intuition and intellect bland, the heart will be more receptive – let go of any past life grudges. Be kind to yourself and others.
Do your best not over-think and analyze your moves and motivations – try to flow with the spirit of the moment. It is a good time to sort things out without being too critical (of yourself and others). Internal analysis sometimes leads to finger pointing and blaming – be aware of that – it is us it is all in you!
It is a month that embodies the full spectrum of the rainbow, manifesting in white. Empty yourself so you can be present to the full spectrum of your capacity.
These are great times to study, to acquire some new practice, new knowledge. Some internal work
is needed, it doesn’t mean that you need to be alone; take care of your internal process.
The new moon will be a good time to get together, to share music and spoken word. Take yourself (and others) to a a chanting events, praying and getting other peoples advice – can be very helpful. Do not try to handle everything on your own.
In gratitude, love and peace

Our First Day of the Year

1st Day of January, after the New Years Eve celebration with Global Exchange, we went to the 6th annual coastside community celebration in Half Moon Bay, CA. Of course, we had absolutely no idea what to expect, but hey, isn't it the best way to begin the year? Attending something new?
Half Moon Bay, for those who don't know about it, is a gorgeous place right on the pacific ocean, 25 minutes south of Sf. There, we were treated with the most enthusiastic team of singers, dancers, musicians, and spiritual yoga lovers who brought us to a day of celebration. I have to say, Jacqueline (see picture ) from www.soulmoves.com knows how to move our souls!
The morning was about yoga, dance, music, and more dance, and more music. Was it my legendary intuition that made me wear my true Brazilian pants? Anyway, Matt the musician (drummer on the pic) and the Exquise Marquis Marcea gave us a nice introduction to Brasilian music and dance, making noise, singing and shaking it babe!
But the most amazing moment of the day was the Celebration at the Beach. We made a happy procession to the beach, when the sun was begining to go down and yet was warm and bright for this winter day. We were dancing and singing, as we knew each other forever, all celebrating the new year, being grateful for the past year. With the ocean as witness, as every one else, I made my wish, my own call for this year to come, symbolically putting this wish in a pure white flower and throwing it to the infinity of the ocean.
I believe in community, I believe in peace and goodwill, and with connecting all the people of the world who are just like the Half Moon Bay Community, I know we will achieve Harmony on this Beloved Planet. What other choice do we have? :-)
I wish you a new year of Joy, Peace and Happiness!

Smile Meditation

Wonder World
This world is a wonder world. The whole world is perfect harmony itself; therefore, this world is entirely full of wonders. As Existence Spirit, perfect itself creates whole this world; this world is perfect world and becomes a wonder world from the beginning.
Smile
Smile is the essence of Life. It is the greatest wonder of this world. It is the manifestation of the Existence Spirit to this real world. There was smile within Existence Spirit from the beginning of this world, so it could finally create Triorigin and Neutro in order to create the entire wonderful and orderly world. At the moment of Neutro birth of Triorigin, the latent smile of Existence Spirit start being realized practically for the first time in this world. This world is therefore a smile world and we all are wonder and smile together.
Smile is one of the most important and practical channels to achievement of harmony and perfection; life with a smile.
We could exist thanks to this smile. I AM SMILING, SO I EXIST. YOU ARE SMILING, SO YOU EXIST. WE ARE SMILING, SO WE EXIST ALL TOGETHER.
Smile meditation allows a person to comprehend that every living creatures is initially a smiling creature. It leads a person to be aware of his original smilic nature and see smile in every object of this world, in every moment of time, in any situation.
Smile meditation based on the comprehensive fundamental theory of Triorigin, allows the meditating person not only to improve his health and life quality but also to actively influence the present and future of his or her family, working team and society in general.
It has high potential in treatment of various forms of dependence; from tobacco, alcohol, drugs etc. It leads to ultimate perfection state where Neutro consciousness exists, which includes Neutro mentality, Neutro spirit, Neutro emotions such as Neutrolized happiness, delightfulness and satisfaction, etc.
It is so easy, comfortable and fast to get into the common channel to obtain eternal Origin Smile that everybody can join in this smile meditation to upgrade his or her life quality and to change his or her suffering life to smile life
