Timing is everything.....  John McCain is in a completion cycle (represented by 9). This is a cycle of letting go of the past (without much success on his part) and can be experienced as loss. It is not the best season for great new plans and ideas - definitely not the time to take on a presidency. On top of this McCain just turned 72, a year influenced by the Moon and often experienced as erratic, emotional and unbalanced.

McCain was born under the influence of Saturn with a gift of 9. He has always had the ability to master new ideas fast, coupled with extreme impatience and the tendency to be blunt at times. He is a skilled leader who does not like to be told what to do and works best giving orders - like a king. He is definitely not a collaborator. He is an old hand in power grabbing (especially in the areas of international business and finances).

McCain’s main challenge is to connect to spirit and be able to sustain relationships of integrity and truth. When he is in spirit and true to his heart, people will listen to him. On November 4th he will be under the influence of Saturn and within his cycle it may be too late and unfavorable to connect to undecided voters.

For Obama the time cycle is more favorable. 2– a cycle of new beginnings & leaving the past behind. It is a year of smoothing the water & progressing through cooperation. This is a highly social cycle of connecting to new affiliates and collaborators; thriving for harmony. With his affinity for service and social justice he has the spark to take charge.

Obama's main challenges are to maintain flexibility and creativity, keep up the positive attitude and vision in the face of challenging circumstances (he has a strong self doubting side). When coming from the heart Obama’s ability to serve and benefit others will shine.  His heart desire is to work with the community, utilizing his strong sense of fairness and justice.

On November 4th he will be under the influence of the number 37 which is the royal star of Taurus - it is a day of union, powered by good will - high percentage of women will vote for him and with the right partnerships and alliances he has created he has a favorable conditions to have the upper hand and win this elections.

Plan ahead as we are entering a period of new ways of thinking and operating.
 – planning is crucial, watch the tendencies to be jealous, or skip steps - especially after the 22nd of the month which is a resetting date - resetting our awareness.  Focus is a key issue. As Mercury is retrograding (starting on Sept 24) issues of concentration and attention to details, will rise to the surface.
 
Please do whatever it takes to clear your mind from a sense of confusion and clutter. Laugh for twenty minutes, run or dance, clapp... meditate – open up through Yoga or martial arts... it is needed, more these days as the speed of information and awareness intensify.
 
As we are entering Fall Equinox – emotions will intensify. We may experience aggravation and frustration due to our own inability to go with the flow and our ego will thrive based on attachments to accustomed ideas and habits.
 
This is a period were we will be forced to restructure our thinking and re prioritize and reorganize our values. This equinox is the time to regroup, reorganize and let go of any attachment and any unfinished business that will not be finished at this time.
 
It is the time to exchange ideas and advice - we will experience the need to deepen the conversation between us. Depth means no more cheap talk. Mean what you say and be what you mean.
