Support Haiti's helpers
A 7.0 magnitude earthquake hit what might be the poorest place in the world. The devestation is beyond imagination and the death toll is increasing every day due to poor structure in the country of Haiti.
A lot of people, countries and organizations are doing their best to aid and support. Like in any other disaster, whether we hear about it or not, there are good people's life on the edge, which CAN be saved. Just thinking about being able to help makes me feel good for a moment. Stories of delegations rescuing people from the ruins and videos of survivors give a bit of hope for the one who follows the story. By donating, we help these guys with their holy work!
A very good page to see images take 2 days after the disater can be found here:

We donated to Doctors without borders directly on their website.
There are many other way to donate and support. Care2.com has a great page with lots of resources about who to donate to and learn more about Haiti too.

Please donate to help the animals affected by Earthquake at Haiti! lots of money is being poured into aid the humans, and we also need to raise some for helping the animals there as well. Also, does anyone want to GO THERE and help with Emma Clifford, president of Animal Balance?

International Fund for Animal Welfare: http://www.ifaw.org/ifaw_united_states/
Emma Clifford of Animal Balance sent me an email asking if anyone is interested in going to Haiti to help. If you are email me and I'll forward her email to you.
I also asked her about which group we should support to help the animals in Haiti and she agreed WSPA is good. This is a group that I donate to when there are international animal issues that I want to help with.
So I'm forwarding their info. if you're interested. Also IFAW is going to Haiti to help the animals if you prefer donating to them.
Lets all send love and energy to the suffering animals in Haiti. I know there's enough donations going to humans so I'm very comfortable putting this out to help the animals which are usually last to get help in disasters.
Thanks,
L-Danyielle

That is a great resource indeed! Thank you for sharing Alison!
Why donate to Doctors without Borders
During the Tsunami, lots of people donated to MDF (Medecins sans Frontieres, aka Doctors without Borders). They received more than needed for this tragedy. Prior to switch the donations to another mission, they asked people authorization to switch their donations to something else than the Tsunami. This is a great way to know that your money is going where you want to help, as I know a great number of generous donors were deceived to find out some organizations put their money "on hold" and was not used immediately to relieve the suffering.
