Energy

December 09 Light! Camera! Entertainment!

The rush of energy this month may fool you, its potent! Creative! Frantic with longing, fantasy seeking and the neediness for constant socializing... the key is balance, harmony, and listening to others advice.

December is beyond the duality we have experienced in November, it is influenced by the dynamic commotion of the triangle or 3, the third dimension – imagination, creativity, positive-attitude (some depression at times). Highly social month, quite positive (in general), yet consuming. Can be at time restless and anxious with high and lows between positivity and worrisome.

Make sure you take a break, nurture yourself, and take care of your physical environment, your body and your emotional world so you can fully engage and serve the people around you (Venus is taking a lead this month – love of beauty, connecting to others; the grace of nature, harmony and dependability).

Recession Survival: Honor Your Planet

When in the midst of financial hardship, we are forced to re-evaluate our priorities, and some — like our commitment to an environmentally responsible lifestyle — may become overshadowed by our more immediate concerns. Gallup reports that for the first time in 25 years, a majority of Americans say economic growth should take priority over the environment, even if it means the environment may suffer. The financial downturn means governments have less money to devote to projects that reduce greenhouse-gas emissions.>>Read more »

Why is 'Green Energy' Alternative?

Renewable energy is:

Energy resources that are naturally replenishing but flow-limited. They are virtually inexhaustible in duration but limited in the amount of energy that is available per unit of time.

Some types of green energy include: Solar; Wind; Hydro and tidal/wave; Geothermal and Ocean thermal; and Biomass/Bioenergy/Biofeuls. Despite our knowledge of the need to turn towards Green Energy, as opposed to conventional energy generation, it continues to be viewed as alternative. There will be a time, though, when it will be mainstream -- either by necessity or choice.>>Read more »

Green Energy Vs Conventional Energy

The debate over whether green energy should take precedence over conventional energy generation rages. The tug-of-war for investment and R&D dollars often takes place between renewable energy production and the cleaning up of conventional energy methods. It is sometimes hard to fathom why conventional electricity generation is still seen as a legitimate competitor (given that climate change is now a fact).>>Read more »

What is Green Energy?

Climate change is perhaps humankind’s greatest concern. We are not only moving towards a climate of rapid change, but one that is transforming with unprecedented volatility and severity.
