The Power of our mind and the Law of Attraction

The Law of Attraction- such a big term... so big that most of us are unaware how much we attract moment to moment, and how subtle this law is. We are creating every moment, and the next moment is a ripple effect/ a wave of now. Were does this begin? Is it just watching 'The Secret' and going out and asking for 'stuff' from the universe? Is it that simple? hmmm.... let me see.... No, it isn't! The question is how commited are we really to be responsible for our feeling thoughts, and actions, in order to attract that which we want, and that supports us, rather than random, unspecified, incidents, people, and events in life.

How do we begin? Short answer: our subconscious mind.
Long Answer: now thats quite a task...

Our subconscious is bigger than we think. It is the storage of 'what we don't know, we don't know'... Yes ! it is our internal hard drive, that like in a computer, has all kinds of programs, and sub-programs, and information, that litterally 'runs us', or more so runs our manifestation power. What we manifest has direct correlation to our subconscious conditioning, no matter how much we try to deny, or ignore it, or brush it with a nice sweet topping- our internal world = our external, period.

It is a constant awareness of that which we say to ourselves inside, what we believe to be true about ourselves, the world, what we can have and what we cannot. Also, who we have not forgiven yet, who we are secretely still wanting to 'get back at' and therefore manifesting more people/incidents/opportunities to 'revenge'. Who is that "we"? Our Ego.

Ego = Our Identity, who we think we are = how we were brought up, and the collection of parental, and social conditioning we have accumulated from childhood and on. Is that 'who we are'? ....
Think about it... do you really think you are who your parents told you you are? Society? Teachers? etc etc etc bla bla bla...

Buddha sat in meditation 6 years to answer that. It is something that is nothing, and everything at the same time.

Cut the long story short (as much as I can...)- the more we get closer to find out who we really are, the easier it is to manifest what we want, the easier it is to 'ask and it is given...'
Life becomes easier, since our mind becomes clear, empty and pure, like a kid before they are told who they are... (usually by people who have no clue who they are... ha!).

How to get there? Thats for the next blog...

Ego is something

...to get rid off? Is there anything "positive" in our ego, or should we try to remove its layers one by one, and get rid of being proud, being upset and all the feelings associated with this ego...positive or negative?
I mean, "feel good feeling" when someone compliments you, and "feel bad feeling" when someone is rude to you, isn't it all the same? Why are we so dependant of what people say about us, if not for this ego? If we cut this ego, we cut our dependance of others and are not affected by what they tell you (good or bad).
Remove the "Ego" and then you stop reacting to people and "begging" for their attention. But then, does it mean the ego is only something on your way to get to your true self? Has it no purpose at all, except giving you the fake sensation of "protecting you from the world?" Why do we all have it then?
Is it just a by-product of our education?

The Ego was built from childhood on. It does have a purpose, and so so do all our past experiences. They are there for us to learn about life. Being proud, upset, happy, sad, are all natural occuring emotions experienced by us in this human experience. The ultimate is being in the feeling when it happens, and not identifying with it, for who we are. So it's like a cloud, a sea wave- they come, they go, never stay. When we cling to our emotions and states of being and confuse them with our true personality, then we get ourselves into a bind of thinking and trying to figure out stuff that is not even real...

...."If we cut this ego, we cut our dependance of others and are not affected by what they tell you (good or bad). " - Yes, I ask you, how would it be for you to NOT be dependent on what others say to you?

The ego is there in order for us to experience what is is like to live in the constraints of our self created walls. We must live through the "made-up" stuff to get to the truth. It's like yin and yang, there is not one part w/o the other. In ZEN they talk about the full- circle. We start at the 0 degrees and end at the 360 degress- the same point we started, but only with the full experience that got us there... a deeper understanding of life, mind, self etc etc.
The mind is big, and has many many tricks it does in order to keep us thinking we are the mind... Observing it, makes the light shine on it, and the ego doesn't like to be exposed, since when it does, it desolves. So slowly, by our awareness, we expose the elements of our ego/our believed "true-self", until we reach a point of just being the true self, with nothing to figure out... That is quite a journey.

thank you!

This is a very strong answer.
You are right, feelings are just expressing something, but not defining your true self - otherwise it would mean you are only anger, or only laughter :-).
