California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger set California’s renewable-energy target at 33% by 2020; right now, the state’s target is to get 20% of its electricity from renewable sources by 2020. Gov. Schwarzenegger’s executive order clears the way for the state legislature to draft new laws making the target binding.

"All retail sellers of electricity shall serve 33 percent of their load with renewable energy by 2020. State government agencies are hereby directed to take all appropriate actions to implement this target in all regulatory proceedings, including siting, permitting, and procurement for renewable energy power plants and transmission lines," the order said.

About half of the states in the country have renewable-energy mandates, which have pushed utilities to develop solar and wind projects, as well as to sign long-term contracts with companies that build and operate those types of power plants.

President-elect Barack Obama advocated for a national renewable energy mandate during his campaign.

Are you business minded? Investor? Can you see the bigger picture?

Now is the time to invest in Green Renewable Energy Projects!

CSP Plant:

A CSP Plant uses the sun to generate electricity cleanly and efficiently. A 50MW CSP Plant with Biomass will supply enough energy for approximately 60,000 homes and reduce greenhouse gas emissions by over 200,000 tons per year.
The ROI for the investor  is approximately five years, and is in the 10's of millions of $.
