This is the 12^{th year of the Tony Award winning San Francisco Mime Troupe's Youth Theater Project (YTP), an eight-week long theater workshop for youth from around the Bay Area. We have brought together a diverse group of forty-five young adults who are developing their voice as artists, performers, and writers. Our workshop participants focus on ensemble building and physical acting styles while developing original one act plays. Themes are generated by our participants as they challenge one another to look deep into the realities and possibilities of modern day life. The workshop culminates in performance of three new works in a professional theater with full technical support. The result is a life-changing experience for the youth and an inspiring, enlightening and moving night of performance for our audiences.}

This year YTP is focused on collaboration and community. The T.N.T. Youth Arts Festival is the result of new partnerships with community youth programs. There will be a Festival on Saturday, April 12th from 1-6 at BRAVA Theater. At this festival wewill feature tables for community groups and creative projects from Bay Area Youth. At 3:00pm we will feature the three performances developed by this year's Youth Theater Project following which will be a reception party for the Festival.
