The Foundation of the Sacred Stream is pleased to sponsor an intimate gathering with Robert Thurman on October 8, 2008 to benefit Tibet House, an organization dedicated to the promotion and preservation of Tibetan culture. Seating at Dr. Thurman's lecture, The Buddhist Cosmos: Death, Life, and History as Evolution, will be limited to 35 guests.
6:30pm Reception and book signing
7:30pm -9:30pm Lecture
A minimum donation of $150 is requested, and larger donations are greatly appreciated. Donations will entitle guests to a one-year membership with Tibet House and guests will also receive a copy of Dr. Thurman's latest book, Why the Dalai Lama Matters. Donations are tax deductible (except for the $25 cost of the book) and donors will receive a letter from Tibet House for tax purposes.
