Why Are We Here?

Why Are We Here?

Most people are raised in a specific religion that has a "God" or "higher power".  We're taught that this being is the creator of all and that there is no equal.  I was raised in the Roman Catholic Church and have a family member that is a "sister" in the church, yet, I have trouble finding the "truth" in how the church wants me to practice my faith.  Does that mean I don't believe?  Absolutely not!  I know that there is something much larger than me and I do believe in whatever that is.  I believe it has no gender, color or shape and I know for a fact that it believes in me.  Otherwise, why would I be here?>>Read more »

Numeric forecast - October 09

Personal freedom; issues of power, control and leadership; influence of high social connection and creativity!

This month is about continuing the process of completion, whatever is not happening; not aligning with your soul, whomever it is not happening, or not working with, will fall to the side line, the road is wide – your soul purpose is to find your way – stay focused on the road!

A completion cycle, which has started in September, will continue till the 21st of October.
Fuel your soul with humor, extra endurance and compassion.

The first three weeks in October are about clearing up the space to take a leap.  Be humble as you are preparing for crossing over to a new level of awareness and to the vastness of great possibilities.

Questions to ask are: What do I need to complete (conversations; processes; and projects).

I know you are a happiness activist because I assume you want to help to create Peace on Earth.  If we had peace on Earth, then we would have people who were smling and laughing.  Happy people smile and laugh, and now we can teach happiness like we can teach math with the new Happiness Science! >>Read more »

Types of Yoga: Four main paths

As we learned last week, there are many different paths to reaching enlightenment. Though most westerners associate yoga with the practice of yoga poses (asanas), there are many different paths of yoga, some of which do not involve the practice of yoga asanas at all. If practicing yoga poses does not appeal to you but you are interested in other paths to enlightenment, perhaps a different form of yoga is the right path for you. Whether you are someone of a more intellectual nature, or would prefer a form of spiritual yoga, your own yoga path can be whatever you make it.>>Read more »

Spirit Gardening

I grew up in the garden; in fact, I tend to count the stages of my life through the gardens I have known. My mother and father were avid gardeners and we always had something growing outside no matter where we lived. If space allowed there would be corn and potatoes, pumpkins and zucchinis — once we even grew peanuts! We always had chickens who roamed free in the garden, picking off the bugs and enjoying the good life; I used to hang out with them in the sun all the time.>>Read more »

Yoga - Which is the right path?

In our Basics of Yoga series, we learned that yoga is a multi-faceted spiritual practice, in which the practice of physical poses, or asanas, is one part of uniting the individual with the universal consciousness.

There are in fact many different types of yoga, some of which may not even incorporate the practice of yoga asanas. All these types of yoga are different paths to the ultimate goal of self-realization. Within each path are many different branches or styles, which we will be looking at in the next few weeks.>>Read more »

To Touch Is To Heal With Life

Technology enables constant connection, yet at the same time it turns us distant. The information revolution can not change our innate nature, even though most techie friends of ours would prefer to be left to their own social devices. The need for bonding, or close physical contact with other human beings, remains with us throughout our lifetimes. Scientific studies have shown that the amount of body contact in our lives plays a vital role in our mental and physical development as infants and in our happiness and vigor as adults.

Meditation and Breathing Techniques

Human breath exists in a liminal place, that is to say it's between two things.  The action of breathing is automatic like a heartbeat, but it can be controlled like a morning stretch.  Air itself is insubstantial, but we know that it's as material as the ground beneath our feet.  This may be why mastering breathing is so important to the practice of meditation – how we breathe affects our bodies and spirits alike.  Controlled breathing makes relaxation come more easily, and provides a focus for quieting the mind.>>Read more »

We are currently experiencing the worst economic crisis since the Great Depression. In March, 663,000 jobs were lost, bringing the unemployment rate to 8.5% — the highest it's been since 1983. Losing your job can be devastating, and not being able to make ends meet has put many people into extremely stressful situations. Sometimes It may seem like the end of the world, and many experts predict the global economy will still get worse before it gets better. But it will eventually recover, and in the meantime, it is important to keep financial issues in perspective.>>Read more »

Road to Enlightenment

Many are looking for the path to enlightenment.  Most look out side them selves to find it, either by reading books, or attending seminars from gurus or other ways of the thinking world.

It really is simple. . . stop thinking - as in

Stop thinking about being and just Be.

Thinking is a human trait, fostered by the Ego. Ego is you human aspect keeping you from the divine aspect inside all of us.  Remember, we are all ONE -and we ALL must heal to make it ALL better.>>Read more »

Body and Soul

Life is a dream, which we control in our subconcious, even during waking hours.

How you view the world makes you who you are, and offers only the paths you can see.  Change your view, and the paths change as well.

The main viewpoint or question you need to ask on your spiritual journey:>>Read more »

Giving Psychic Readings to Others

Okay....so we are at the end of this course about psychic awareness. You are probably thinking, "So now I can tune into my psychic senses for myself...what about for other people?" "Don't let your voices go silent."

Don't let your voices go silent! Every voice is required to bring peace to this Earth. Most of the citizens of this planet are for peace; there are just a few bad apples in every country.

But it is like an airplane that is going to take off, and if three or four passengers are late, no matter, it will take off regardless.>>Read more »

Beginning a Regular Yoga Practice

If you're new to yoga and interested in beginning a regular practice, I recommend looking for a local yoga studio. Although many quality yoga DVDs are available for home use, until you have learned the proper body alignment for the most common asanas, it's best to learn under the eye of a trained yoga instructor who can give you correction and guidance as needed.>>Read more »
