The Frugal Living Lifestyle aka living on the cheap

Hi everyone.  Sorry it's been awhile since I connected with my frugal friends.  But I'm back so please forgive me.  Anyway, I'd like to joyfully review the basics of the frugal state of mind.  Frugal means creative.  You become a happy Bargainista.  You love planning and systems which leads us to that wonderful world of prioritizing.  On the spiritual side, frugal doesn't always mean thinking about what you don't have and how to get it.  We should put as much thought into being thankful for what we do have.  Being frugal means not taking things for granted as well as making better choices about what you think you really need.  Of course then we must acknowledge the big B, yea budget.>>Read more »

Michelle Obama - Change we can eat?

The White House, with its new occupants, has another new addition thanks to First Lady Michelle Obama – an organic garden. Michelle planted the kitchen garden with local school children, and since it was planted the garden has yielded more than eighty pounds of produce which has been used in the White House kitchen as well as distributed to the children who helped plant it.

I think it’s fantastic. Not everyone shares my view.
